Throughout this last year, there are many beliefs we live our lives by. We always make sure they line up with God’sWord, so as we share our beliefs, we will also show where it can be found in the Bible as well.
WE BELIEVE…
-God will never leave us of forsake us; He has a plan to prosper us and not to harm us. ~2 Corinthians 4:8-9,17-18, Matthew 10:29-31, Jeremiah 29:11-12
-God calls us to live apart from the world. ~James 4:4, 2 Timothy 2:22-23, Philippians 2:14-15, Galatians 1:10, Matthew 6:24
-Our bodies should be a living sacrifice and a dwelling place for God. So we should never allow anything negative or unpleasing to go in/out of us, whether through words or actions. ~James 5:12, Hebrews 12:1-2, Ephesians 4:24
-In getting into His word and spending time with Him daily, as it is part of our “daily bread”. ~John 8:31-32, Joshua 1:8, Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17,
-God calls us to surrender ourselves completely to Him, focusing on our treasures in heaven instead of here on earth. ~Luke 9:23-25, James 3:16, Luke 12:34, 1 Timothy 6:17, Luke 22:46
-Faith without works in dead. We cannot only speak of our faith, but follow it out in action daily. ~James 2:17-20, 1 John 3:18
-we have no strength, power, or ability in ourselves. Only through God and His strength are we capable of anything.~2 Corinthians 12:9, Mark 10:27
-None of us are righteous in ourselves, and have fallen short of God’s glory; but because God sent his only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and rose again, we can now experience eternal life with Him if we just confess our sins and believe in Him. ~2 Timothy 1:9-10, Ephesian 2:3-10, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:22-24, 6:23,10:9, Acts 4:12
-God Doesn’t cause hardship or suffering. However, He will allow us to go through hard times sometimes so that we may be strengthened and matures into who He desires us to be. ~James 1:13-17, 1 Peter 5:10, Hebrews 12:7-11, Galatians 6:9
-We should rejoice no matter the circumstance, through good times and bad. ~James 1:2,12, 2 Timothy 2:12, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, 1 Peter 4:12-13
-Every day is a gift from God in itself; and we should praise Him for that and solely who He is, not what He does for us or what our circumstance are. ~ James 1:17, Psalm 7:17
